What you specifically can do to help the environment

Have you ever heard someone say there’s things that you can do to help the environment but you weren’t quite sure what specifically to do to help. Well that’s going to change after reading this blog. There’s so many little things that can be done to help the environment but it will only get better if you start now.

To start off you can reduce, reuse and recycle. You can cut down on the things you throw out and keep an eye out for the things that you can recycle. You can also volunteer to help with cleanups around your community. Conserving water does a lot, for example you could take shorter showers, when brushing your teeth don’t leave the water running. Another huge thing is using reusable bags. I work at a grocery store and I see people bringing in their own bags every day. Planting a tree or a couple can also do a lot, trees provide food and oxygen.Keeping your garden chemical free is also huge and would benefit you as well.  Lastly if you could use a bike instead of using your car all the time it’ll help a little bit.

The world is in our hands ;)
If everyone starts to do these little things to help the environment then you’ll see a change. There’s so many simple things that can be done but would make a huge difference. Now that you know what you can do to help you should start doing these things and it’ll become a routine. Things can change for the better it just starts with you.

  1. I liked how short this blog was but it was full of helpful facts. I definitely should start to reuse things instead of just throwing them out!

  2. How much of a change/effect do reusable bags have? If I knew how much of an impact doing something small like that can have, I might be more likely to make the change. I usually do bring my own bags and it felt very strange not to during covid.
