Why plastic is so bad for the environment 

    Well plastic is getting put into the rivers throughout a lot of places now in South East Asia specifically, then the plastic gets put into the ocean. This is becoming a bigger and bigger issue around the world, it's much more worse in other places compared to what we see here. The fish are then eating it thinking it's food, causing either there insides to be damaged from the plastic or they get caught up in the plastic before they can eat it.

    There is a man with a plan though and he's dedicated his whole life to it. Throughout the ted talk he mentions all the work that he's put into this and he explains all the work he's done. He's trying to get it so that recycled plastic isn't as expensive. He states that there's plenty of things to do it's just a matter of if everyone does it and participates. With the help from big companies rising the price on plastic by a tiny amount does a lot. Because then those founds would go to helping with the environment.

    He's very sure of his plan and I also think it's a good idea. All it takes is one photo to see how bad the plastic is attacking the ocean and a lot of people might open there eyes up as well. If nothing changes now it'a just going to get worse before it gets better. Changes need to be made now or else it's going to be to late.
